Plastic Injection Moulding
Ian Brown Engineering has a fully equipped manufacturing facility, offering Injection moulding, metal pressing and assembly all under one roof.
We manufacture products utilizing modern computer-aided moulding machinery with skilled machine operators.
Our state of the art facility has 5 moulding machines ranging from 20 to 175 tons, with product weight capabilities reaching 800grams. There are various moulding processes that we are capable of executing, namely Insert, Multi-Cavity and Technical moulding. The plastic materials we use range from Polyprop; ABS; Nylons; Polycarbonates and styrenes. Our aim is a fast-turn-around time, whilst maintaining an effective quality control system. Getting the finished products delivered to you exactly when and where you need them, is a priority.
Extrusion Blow Moulding
We specialise in blow moulding of plastic products such as plastic bottles, plastic containers, plastic reusable Packaging and cosmetic packaging products.
We welcome lower volume runs for custom bottles.
We have capacity to blow mould bottles & jars up to 1000ml in any shape & size.
We have Extrusion Blow Moulding machinery capable of moulding the following materials – PETG, PVC, HDPE, LDPE PP, SBC (K resin).

MOULD Design & Tool making
Our in-house tooling capability allows us to design and produce new moulds with full control of timescales and quality.
We can work from your drawings, from initial sketches or use our design skills to produce new ideas to your specification, combining these with custom colour capabilities to give your product a distinctive look and feel.
In our fully equipped tool room, we have invested in the computer controlled machinery and craft skills essential to transfer designs efficiently into accurate moulds.
We manufactures tools and dies in-house for their own production plant or for companies doing their own production, this includes:

Ian Brown Engineering cc t/a Supertech Plastics are located in Kya Sand, in Randburg. The company has occupied the current premises since 2000. The manufacturing facility was purchased from Rossbro Plastics cc at this time by Ian Brown, who was a partner in the concern, and continued to trade as Rybro Tool & Die cc.
In 2007 Ian Brown Engineering was formed with sons Jared and Brice as new members. The Rybro trademark has been kept as a well established brand.
